Schools are the basis of our education, during our development we pass most of our time on these institutions, making them a place where we live different experiences and had made us pass throughout many processes and situations. Every class has help us develop different competencies, even if we hadn’t noticed how they have done this. By proposing different situations for us to figure out and solve, our problem solving skills have been developing and had helped us to solve them. We use knowledge application throughout different courses and topics, once we learn something, that knowledge stays with us and we learn to apply it in different circumstances. Teamwork is one of the principal and main competencies we have learned, this have helped us improve our leadership and communication skills to achieve a certain goal we all have in common. This are just some examples we have been learning and continue to apply and improve nowadays.

I consider that the main cause of some classmates not been able to consolidate these competencies is that they aren’t interested in improving the skills they already have, they think that the ones they have are already enough, but in reality nowadays we need to be constantly be improving and developing the way we work as individuals, because our work can affect others when we work as a team.

When you are young you pass most of your life in school and most of the thing that you learn are from school, and this can impact you in a good or bad way, it depends of the school that you are in but this show use how much the school is responsible for your formation and the competence that you developed, if you are in a school that they don’t care about you your competencies development is going to be very low but if on the contrary you are in a school that cares about and push you to challenging situations always with the support of the teacher you are going to develop competence that will help in you present and future, it is important that you now that ,yes, the school plays a very important role in you competences development but you play a much bigger role in and if you don’t want to improve you are not going to and that is why a lot of students don t improve their competences.

Management competencies are the skills, habits, motives, knowledge and attitudes necessary to successfully manage people. When developed, management competencies promote better leadership and contribute to business success. The human assets needed for managerial competency are necessary for a productive workforce. School is not only a place where children learn reading, writing and math. It helps children learn to interact positively with their peers and teachers. They learn about healthy relationship skills and develop them further through interactions, both in the classroom and on the playground.
Leadership is a critical aspect of all social endeavors. In schools, talented leadership is essential to student achievement. School leadership impacts all facets of education: teacher motivation, shaping the conditions and the environment in which teaching and learning occurs, and interaction with the broader community. Students should do enlisting and guiding the talents and energies of teachers, pupils, and parents toward achieving common educational aims, good leadership in schools is vital for improving the learning outcomes of students. Some classmates may not develop those competencies, because not all of them are focused on the school, based on leadership or to have good grades or they are not interested in their grades or to improve.

  4. i personally Think that the school can help us to develop these competences due to the assignments and works that they make us do because sometimes we have works that are in Teams and sometimes we have works that are individual , so the team works can help us to develo teamwork , organisational skills because everyone has something different that they specialize on , school helps us alto specialy in the responsability factor because we would not be able to do everything that we do in school like proyects, exams , and specialy studying because that is something that a Lot of us have trouble doing . i Think that some classmates have not consolidated these ompetences , or have not make these competences stronger because of how they work , what do i mean? you might ask yoursel , what i mean is that some people dont work as hard as others. and some people does not gave these types of competences the importante that they need or the effort that these competences need. some exmples of pearsons who have developed these competences and will continue to develop them can be Jeff besos , Elon Musk , etc.. because if they hadnt developed these competences they wuld never be where they are now.

Since we are kids managerial competencies are thought to us by our parents and in school for our development later on in life when going into the business world, the common place where we learn this competencies is at school, we learn with activities that are given to us by our teachers and with the experiences we live at school since it’s a place where we spend most of our lives at a young age until we graduate, school forces us to interact with others helping our communication and social skills which are important for a good development of the other managerial competencies. Even though school helps our development of this skills some people have a hard time developing them, it can be due to a lack of them at home, when parents don’t set an example it can be hard for young people to learn how to properly interact with others and develop their skills, it can also be due to the character of a person, if someone is shy or introverted it can be way harder for the person to impose a character of leadership among others, it can also be related to a person being more comfortable in a position with less responsibility than a leader and making it harder for them to try and develop managerial competencies.

For me the managerial competencies that are important to develop to work properly and in harmony are:
    1. The trust
    2. Comunication
    3. Motivations
    4. The skills of knowledge and atittudes
    5. teamwork
    6. The habits of the person
    7. The humanity

    A) The school already help us in learning new things in many subjest as math, spanish, english, chemistry, etc. But if we wanna learn this new “skills” or compentencies, I think that the school can do new and different stuff to learn this managerial competences, they have to inovate the activities. Yes they help us doing teams because we work as a team and we have to comunicate with the team members, but we need more than teams to helps to learn this new things, like doing a motivations class so we can continue working in our classes without been tired or learn about how people behaves in differents enviroments and the habits that they use. There are some classmates that not consolidates these competencies, I guess because they don´t really care about it or is difficult to them, to learned because it is something new for them. Another thing could be that they have few of this competencies and are trying to learn this skills.

    B) Animal Planet is channel that cares about their employees. Why right? Well in this program is well know that they record animal behaviors but they have a big team. When they go out to film wild animals like lions, crocodiles, snakes, etc. They need to have trust in their team because every single employer have a job and they have to trust in what they are doing for example: in animal planet have a program called Coyote Peterson and the team are the cameraman, medical crew, sound crew, director and the host Coyote Peterson. They go to the forest seeking wild animals, when they are recording have comunication of what they gonna do, have the motivations “take care of each other” they know there skills to provide to the team and the most important the have the humannity to understand when someone is tired to finish and restart the next day.

Business can implement these managerial competences just doing a good trade of the employees, show them that we are here for the same thing, having respect and that no one is more important that is a team

Since we grew up in school, I think it is crucial not only to learn the theory of basic subjects but to reinforce the skills and abilities of each one as well as those that we still have to develop, since our school grades and theory do not ensure our success in the real world. I think school can help to develop managerial competencies through discussions as if it were a debate, but rather than defending or attacking a point, we all try to solve a problem and thus listen to the opinions of others. I feel that in this way, we could learn to listen, respect, and take into account the ideas of others and learn to work as a team. Carry out work that takes us out of the comfort zone that challenges us, and in this way, we can think of ways to solve it and not limit ourselves to a single option or that just cannot be done, also to take out our creativity.
Each person understands and learns differently, and not only in the methods but also, each one takes different time, however, some people find it difficult to develop certain skills or abilities, and maybe they need more reinforcement and need to practice outside the school enviorenment, but still, some people do not understand its importance so they do not give them much interest,

Us as students can use and develop competencies when we encounter unfamiliar or challenging situations. Competencies help us draw and build upon what we know, how we think and what we can do. In school, students develop and apply competencies through subject-area content and learning experiences.

Students are the artists, scientists, thinkers, innovators and leaders of the future. We will be tasked with solving the problems of today, while imagining and creating a new tomorrow.
Competencies are critical for equipping students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes that we will need to successfully navigate in our personal journeys like learning, living and working.

Students can reflect on how well they incorporate competencies during independent work, group activities and inquiry tasks. The cards can be used for formative assessment, self-reflection, and goal setting.

Consolidate learning is an excellent way of enforcing the information learned during a lesson and making sure you get great grades.

Competency indicators identify specific aspects of a competency that are transferable across subject areas or contexts.

    • Focus the scope of each competency.
    • Help educators determine which aspects of a competency are evident whithin learning outcomes.
    • Describe cognitive, affective of psychomotor behaviors to help identify situations where a competency may be applied or developed.

    B) Provide an example of a business which is well known for building those competencies in their employees? How can a business implement a correct way for promoting the managerial competencies?
A clear example is Google. Google is one of the companies where thousands of people yearn to work, not only because it is a world-renowned company, but also because of its job development plan, which is becoming more and more innovative every day. In this company, work-life balance is allowed, and even pets are allowed. Google offers flexible schedules to its employees so that they can organize their time, they have totally free services such as coffee shops, spas, laundromats, recreational and relaxation spaces, among others; they also have outdoor spaces, green spaces, fun seats, and also with the opportunity to choose a project in which you want to work concerning the company 20% of the time.
They have invested around 115 million dollars in social and labor action initiatives in equipped areas, such as technology, science, engineering, and mathematics. Thanks to all these actions, we can see that the social responsibility and labor commitment that google has with its employees is enormous, but how does this influence managerial competencies? Simple, by having spaces specifically for the approach that google seeks to maintain, is that we can see that behind such a successful company, there are efficient and effective work teams, responsible, with leadership and sense of direction, with the ability to solve problems and generate solutions thanks to the tools provided. That is when many people wonder if this company is socially responsible because it is successful, or is it successful because it is socially responsible? And the answer is both because google is recognized and generates billions of dollars a year is that it can provide all these amenities to its employees, and these amenities, improve the work environment, generating pleasant teams, effective and serviceable people in terms of business development, making not only keep it as it is but also making it grow and evolve day by day.
A company can correctly apply managerial competencies in the following way:
1-Identifying unique behaviors that best align with the company's mission, culture, and vision to meet your organization's strategic objectives.
2-Build trust with all members of the collaborative team.
3-Efficiently and actively contribute to the development of the company's employees by guiding, correcting and pointing out every detail.
4-Recognize the work of those around you.
5-Turn the traditional interpretation process around, being more innovative.

    A) I believe that these competencies are important to develop a good work area. They help to maintain order, and they are skills that we develop and improve over time. Management competencias are all the habilities that we need to manage people and lead them to success.
The school not only leaves us written learning, but also seeks to create some teachings through experiences, a good example can be the teamwork of the different subjects, as that is where we mainly develop such skills, which can be leadership, honesty, helping others, listening to different points of view, etc.. And these are not only tested at school, but also in daily life, we can start from the way we see teachers; as when we see their teaching methods and see what works for them and apply them in different circumstances we face. And these will stay with us as long as we continue to use them.
I believe that many colleagues do not develop some of the competencies well due to a lack of desire to fulfill an objective, laziness, or being distracted by anything. Also when they believe that they can no longer be taught anything and simply do not care. It is important to focus when one wants to reach a goal, and that makes us automatically begin to develop competencies.
    B) The company that I will use to explain this is Amazon, let's start with that in Amazon, they use colors in the identification of employees that changes in steps of 5 years, basically as if they were martial arts, where entrepreneurs are the only ones with the maximum rank. now let's talk about how they apply the competencies, in this stretch of 5 years to move up a step, you have to demonstrate that you have reached the next level, in terms of work and performance, this is when they develop the employees of the competencies, to complete with a goal. Amazon has its workers divided into different groups, with different objectives, with those groups they will work for a long time, and according to their results they will be assigned more tasks. Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon, seeks to create an impact on both workers and consumers, in the case of workers, he shows them his leadership, he teaches them through actions, such as meal times, free areas, and many other things, which are created specifically for the development of different skills in their workers. They have spaces for rest, personal time and several other things, which help them to improve their concentration, skills, and thus obtain better results at work. And based on question 2, it is already more than answered, because its sales and work strategy are related, because it teaches its workers that each one has a very important place in the company, and with this it seeks to guide them towards success. In this way they develop competencies such as: planning, problem solving, patience, honesty, among others.

Because in the school is when the future leaders grow, so children get the support of many professionals (such as teachers or other speakers) who can guide you to make progress, and colleagues will support you so that you can stand up and move on. Putting it into practice at a young age will have better performance in the future, because a person can get used to leading with other people and gradually learn how to work with these people (because they will change at the end of everything). Therefore, when you develop these skills from a young age, they can serve your future and play an active role in many projects in your life.
Now some people do not have these skills, they can develop one of them, but due to several factors such as shyness, if I say this, or if there is no voice to guide, what will they tell me? But no, people who don’t care about this will be affected to their future. Of course, this does not mean that some people find this part difficult and understandable. We are different, but many times we try or completely get rid of what we are used to doing, which is very beneficial to us. In the long run, one of the reasons is that you can completely change your way of being and become the person you want to be. In this case, be a good leader in everything you do.

    A. How do you think the school can help in developing those competencies? Why do you consider some classmates have not consolidates these competencies?
Management competencies are skills and habits that will help us promote better leadership for business success and successfully manage people. Students are the thinkers, innovators and leaders of the future and they will be he ones to solve the problems of today, while creating a new, better tomorrow. Competencies equip students with knowledge, skills and attitudes that they will need for learning, living and working. Most kids spend about 1,000 hours in school a year, it´s an institution for educating children, the place where we learn and where we should develop those competencies. Students should develop and apply competencies through subject-area content and learning experiences in schools. Schools can help the kids develop them through creating scenarios that test their skills, find the bigger picture in things, address misunderstandings directly, promote teamwork, involving students in decision making, organizing workshop for professional advancement and many other activities. I consider some classmates have not consolidate these competencies because their schools are not challenging them enough. Students will make these competencies stronger if they encounter unfamiliar or challenging situations for them, situations that really dare them to remember what they know and force those skills. Competencies help students draw and build upon what they know, how they think and what they can do.

I think school can guide you to get a lot of competences and a lot of skills but mostly you can also get a lot of values, all this really depends not only in the school but also in the person you really want to become, you can really tell if a school will actually help you get skills or introduce you to quite a lot of competences, just by seeing if the school teachers and supervisors actually care of you and will be helpful to overcome quite a lot of new challenges, and motivate you to become a successful person and achieve your personal goals, and your professional goals. On the other side you can also tell if the school will not help you get all those thing you will want in a future just by seeing if they just let you do whatever you want, and quite a lot of other things.

All of the things that we get to go thru in school, mostly is set up to help you get all your skills that you need specifically based on all the time that we spend in our school, we can find and make a lot of new skills based on certain classes that we have.

I do consider that some classmates can not get all this skills as easily because not all of us pay the same attention to a certain classes like others or just some classes just doesn’t get to be as interesting as other classes for other classmates and I do think this totally normal because some people just don’t have the same rhythm of learning or just the same interests.

  14. The school can help to develop these competences a lot, and even if we do not notice, the schools is always making activities to make us develop these competences, such as teamwork; in school we are always working in teams, the teachers divide us in teams and leave us a classwork or a homework, here beside learning teamwork, we also learn leadership, we have to direct our team, give orders and make the team function, if a team doesn’t have a leader, the team will catastrophically fail. School also develops our creativity skills, making art programs or leaving us work where we can use our imagination. School develops our social skills making us cohabitate with other humans and interact with them, also school have activities of public speech, where we develop the to talk and to convince people our ideas are good.
Some kids don’t develop this because sometimes, the school practices don’t work, for example the in the teamwork, there are kids that don’t work and even they are pressured, they don’t care, in the other hand, we have that kid who makes all the work, he distrusts everyone to make the work so he makes it all by himself, he might become a workaholic, something that will prejudice him in many ways.

Management competencies are vital for any job, whether for something school or something professional AI since in any area of life you need communication with others or have someone in front who can support anyone or order them, this area is used usually in jobs such as restaurants, hotels or in a company or place that is selling you an experience so that the diner has the best possible experience and you can recommend what you are selling.
In the school environment, it helps in teamwork, which usually there is someone who writes down who is going to do what or what corresponds to each one is of great help since the doubts that others have are clarified.
But not everyone can be a boss or a leader since some characteristics are needed to be able to help you and help those around you, characteristics such as confidence edition and among many others.
Having a mess in a team is the most important thing so that everything has its order and that everyone can be satisfied, being a leader not only implies sending people but supporting them or letting them support you in some moments being a leader does not It means always being right, it only means that you have to be on the lookout so that if someone has an appointment, you can act, that is, some people are induced, you can help them.

There will be tasks that will make you be creative. There will be projects in which you will have to work in teams, with different kind of people, and you wil have to learn to deal with them and to communicate in the proper way so your ideas can be clear for the other people. Also you will have to motivate and encourage them to work properly and achieve the goal that is proposed.
Some classmates don´t develop these competences because they don´t actively participate in school and work properly.
Amazon is doing the things very well in the ambit of developing these competences in their employees. They invest $700 million in their employees to develop skills and competences that will make them grow in their work. These skills are the newest and the ones that will be need in the future, they make their employees be aware of the next generation of knowledge. I believe that both ways of managing a business are acceptable, in my opinion you cannot manage a company in the same way over the years and not caring about the number of employees, being democratic, or autocratic depends more on the situation. If the company is large, you can create small groups or teams which focus on specific areas of the business (marketing, accounting, human resources, imports, etc.). In the case in which the company is considered as a small business, I believe that the decisions of the way the business will take will not have to be discussed with people other than the partners, all this is base on all the complications that represents depending on the size of the business, the smaller it is the easier it will be for the owner (leader) to manage the finances, human resources, product, of his company. But if the business is considered big, you will have to assign a leader for each team that manages an area of the business, that way they will inform the owner of all the frequent data. No matter the size of the company, it will always be important to have good communication between employees, creativity, and adaptability, because as the company grows the employees will face new problems. From my point of view the best way to lead a team work is democratic, the work area is much more relaxed and joyful since all the members have the option to share their points of view as well as their disagreements, the brainstorming is effective in solving problems. The negative points could be that by not following strict and clear rules as in autocratic, employees could harm their relationships by not knowing how to dialogue or share their ideas in a calm way.

The school definitely plays an important role in everyone´s life, whether it is in a good way or in a bad one but what is sure is that, it provides you with tools that will be useful throughout your whole life, and the managerial competencies cannot be the exception even if we are not aware that we are acquiring them, Throughout all of our courses and classes we face different types of challenges that put our skills and abilities to test, to be able to solve the problem.

We will also have to work in teams and adopt different roles, but in every one of them you must help and be helped and persuade or give motivation to the ones you notice that are having difficulties. And the school with leadership conferences or courses should be able to help everyone out magnifying their strengths and keeping them as developed as possible.
